Quick Join can fetch events directly from Google Calendar or from the macOS Calendar app.

How to set up Quick Join to fetch events directly from Google Calendar

Open Quick Join Settings. Under 'Fetch events', select 'Fetch events from Google Calendar'. Quit and restart the Quick Join app.

Once restarted, you should see a 'Click here to grant calendar access' button. Click the button and sign in with your Google account.

How to set up Quick Join to fetch events from the macOS Calendar app

In this mode, Quick Join fetches events from all the calendars you added to the macOS Calendar app.

Add your calendars to macOS

Ensure the calendars you want Quick Join to display are added to macOS. To do this, go to System Preferences → Internet Accounts and add your calendar accounts. If applicable, set a checkmark next to Calendars.

Allow Quick Join to access your calendars

Open Quick Join Settings. Under 'Fetch events', select 'Fetch events from macOS Calendar app'. Quit and restart the Quick Join app.

Once restarted, you should see a 'Click here to grant calendar access' button. Click the button and allow access.

If you see an error message, go to System Preferences → Security & Privacy → Privacy → Calendars and set a checkmark next to Quick Join. Then, quit and restart Quick Join.
